Hi,
I held these two back to see if I could bring the blackback out a bit more by breeding them together - plus I liked the slightly joined together, drippy side patterns. :D
Wow! Everyone has some pretty neat looking dinkers!!! Mine aren't as exciting, but....
Of course my pos het clown male :D He's got a pretty sweet black back going on. There's only two parts where is pattern goes over his spine and touches both his side paterns. He'll be fun to play to play with! http://i157.photobucket.com/albums/t...a/Isis/014.jpg
Resembles a het red axanthic to me... check the hunter's guide which makes me think even more that its a het red with many of its characteristics.

He does have just about all the characteristics of a het red, but he was an import from J&J, so he remains unproven until I breed it out of him :P He was labeled as a W/c het red but he can always be something else, either way I have a thing for blackbacks like a lot of people seem to have, if thats the only thing he passes on it be good enough for me.;)
Cool lookin' belly on that guy Aaron. Good luck with him.
Thanks Luis, I have a Het Albino girl who I intend to breed him to next season so hopefully one of the 66% Hets will tell me if daddy's sweet belly is genetic.

Re: Show your dinkers!
I just got 5 good eggs this morning from a reported import girl.
Here is what she looked like around 600 grams when I got her:
I think she is 8 this year so it was about time she finally produced. After a great start she became a picky eater and had been out on breeding loans for several years. I've not heard of any other IMG types being proven genetic including her name sake RDR's "Dirty Joe" (I call her Dirty Josefina) so I'm not holding my breath on anything but nice to finally be on the road to maybe finding out.

Re: Show your dinkers!
Hey, I think this would be the closest thing I have to a "dinker" Apperiently she's from 2 captive hatched who both had banding. All babies had some degree of the banding pattern. This one was picked because she also looks sort of black back. Shes paired up with a nice lesser right now and if I get a male out of the clutch i'm breeding him back to her. It's the easiest way for me to get alot of lessers I think. We'll see what the others look like..:)
Well here I have a semi granite looking female I intend to breed in time to see if any thing comes up. I assume nothing really will show but hey you never know. http://i259.photobucket.com/albums/h...r58/dinker.jpg
