What Mazuri block do you feed?
Hi all I am hoping to get some help with this.

I had been buying the 2lb bags of mazuri rat food but we were going through it a bag a week which was getting expensive so I decided to order a 25lb bag to see how it went.
But when I went to pick up the guy said they had accidently sold it as a 50lb and sub a 50lb to me for the same price as 25lb.
But when I got home with it the ingredients are totally different than what I had been feeding them. So I was hoping to find out which blocks you guys feed yours.

I also started adding a Holistic dog food and a home made recipe mix to their diet so not even sure if I really need the lab blocks or not but was going to give them a little of all three plus fresh veggie and fruits to try to make sure they get a good quaility diet going.
Anyway I was just hoping to hear which lab block you guys feed or what you feed.

Heres the Mazuri website link if that helps

    https://www.mazuri.com/Home.asp?Products=2&Opening=2

I had been feeding them this one

    Mazuri Rat/Mouse Diet (2 lb) - 5E09

I had him order this one. But I actually thought it was the same as the 2lb but isn't

    Mazuri Rodent Pellets (25 lb) - 5663

And this is the one I ended up with

    Mazuri Rodent Breeder 6F (50 lb) - 5M30

So any info and insight into this would be greatly appreciate so that I can try to decide which way to go with this.
    Thanks rhsm

6F here as well. I used to get the 2lb bag from petsmart (discount), but decided to start feeding block as the main food and picked up a 50lb bag of 6F from a feed store ($30). Much better. :)

Wow I wish I could find a price like that!

For the OP, I am feeding my mice Mazuri 6F, and I also supplement a little with black oil sunflower seeds and a quality dog food.

We feed 6F (5M30) and 9F, but we like the 23% Rodent Diet from Kent and may be switching to that exclusively once we run out Mazuri.

I cant find it anywhere around here. I have to mail order it and it will cost me 50 bucks for a 50lb bag after shipping. If anyone knows where to get it in kc, let me know, but I would be feeding 6f if I could afford it. At these prices its cheaper just to buy the mice as needed.

Have you tried the dealer locater on Mazuri's site? You might be surprised what's near you that either carries it in stock, or can order it for you.

Yep and called every one. One told me they could get it. That was a month and a half ago. He is the only one, and he is very very rude. I found someone a little farther out that says he carries it, I am gonna make the drive today.

Call around to mills and feed stores. Ask if they carry purina products, and ask if they can give you a quote on it.

    Example:
    Quote:

    Hello,

Would you be able to get a product called Mazuri mouse breeder 9F? It's a Purina product. And if so, what would be the price per 50# bag? Is there any bulk order discount? Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated.

    Mazuri Mouse Breeder 9F 5M68
    Product Form 3/8" x 5/8" Oval Pellet, 1" long
    Catalog #0006758

    Thanks and best regards,
Okay, that was more email form, but a lot of feed stores will look it up and give you a price if they carry Purina.

Yes, they likely have to order and it can take up to 3 weeks to get it in. So, buy in bulk and order before you run out.
