Anyone else NOT name their snakes?

I do not. We dont really talk much and he doesnt understand any way.

I've got a few with names. One had a name before hand, and I kept it.

They earn they're name, I don't usually give it to em.

yip i dont name mine either, but evry now and again the odd snake will get one because it did somthin woth it like all my boas i have there is just one that hisses whenevr i walk past it so it got the name hissy..lol..

and my female blood python named sh i t bag one could guess why lol

I name some of them... Like my Lesser Platniums name is Lesser:D No joke that is what I call him and when im around people I say " Yeah I cant wait until Lesser breeds"..I use it like any name and people know what he is too! The rest I just call My spider...My bel...my Bee... or the greatest one of all Hey you:P

i don't really do names... however, i do nicknames.

ie

pasty the pastel
yeller the yellowbelly
big bertha the burm
henry the (insert number here), kings

etc :p

None of my snakes have names. I only name a pet that can know it's name. Of course I recognize that even if you don't name them you will refer to them as "Mojave male #1" or "Spider female #2" and are for all intents and purposes naming them anyway.

One of mine has a name. He was my first and is tamer than a puppy dog! His name is Bob. All my others I just refer to as "my spider", "my pastel" stuff like that.

My kids like to name all of my snakes. I really don't care either way but they enjoy it.

I had my original corns that had names.. but now its all numbers lol..
cinnie 1, albino 2, normal 1 etc lol.// just got too many to name them all now.

The only names we will call it is 'Nake or 'Nake 'Nake, but that's about it, lol.

Most have names, some don't. Sometimes one will have a certain look or do something that is memorable and I'll give them a name like 'Sanchez' or 'Lonesome George', others I name after the person I got them from like 'Mike' or 'Luke' or 'Sean1', 'Sean2', 'Sean3', 'Sean4', 'Sean5' (well, you get the picture...)

No, they don't come when I call them, but it's just easier for me to refer to them by a name then by a description.

Most of ours have names. I don't even want to think of the headache I would have trying to keep them all straight if they were all "2006 Normal Female 1" and "2008 Enchi Male 2" and what not. The named ones seem to stand apart more in my head.

I name all of mine, but I have two that I haven't "found" names for yet.

i use numbers ie: BP07F6 = ball python,hatched in 2007,female #6.every time i go to the vet there astonished that i don't have names,naming over a 100 balls,i'm not that creative!

ya for kids it could be fun, but I cant call a snake by its name and hes like oh hey im coming hold on. Like a dog. If I had several I might just for reference when talking to other people.

I don't name my snakes. I use a numeric system to keep track of them. Same as already mentioned above.

All my snakes have names but i dont speak snake so im not sure what they are. I buy all my snakes in pairs or trios so i just call them Mojave male or albino female ect.

no i dont name mine either , my stuff only gets nicknamed if its going to stay with me permanently .. and my kids usually do all the naming when it gets a name ..
