Picture Quilt for Bruce

I would really like everyone to sign a picture of their favorite BP (your bps only, unless you have permission to use someone else's picture). Send them to me I will make a quilt out of them. Then auction it off on bp.net, and Bruce can keep the winnings (unless you would rather have the quilt), I can make more than one. Maybe a silent auction type?

Before I get the supplies, I want to make sure this is a good idea. Let me know what you think. I've made them before and they look really awesome!! Anyone up for it?

Probably e-mail. Hopefully I can get lots of them, and it will be easier to sort through. I'm not sure if signing them will be easy for everyone, so I can always just add your name to picture before it is quilted.

Does anyone know Bruce's favorite color? I'm going to need some ideas for borders.

I think this is a wonderful idea! I've got a crazy week coming up around here but next week I'll make sure and pick a picture and we'll sign it for you and get it emailed. Send Bruce a PM with a link to this thread and ask him about colors since I'm not really sure what he'd prefer that way.

Is there a particular minimum and maximum size you'd like people to stay within for their pictures?

Alright! Come on guys. I have some wonderful pics, but I'm going to need more. :) Size really doesn't matter, because I can resize from here. But no poster sizes. lol. My computer has to be able to handle it.

I'll try and take a pic sometime in the next couple of days and pass it along to you.

I love the idea. I can even send one of my babes to be in the menagerie.

Dare I suggest that I am not just about BPs? Keep in mind I am a colubrid, blood, retic, and boa guy too. ;)

Thank you for this project, it is no doubt a lot of work and I really appreciate you not just considering it, but actually taking it on as well.

Thanks everyone! I'm getting some really great pics. I'm ready to start laying down a blueprint and working on sizes and borders. I'll try and put the babies at the top. lol. I wouldn't want him waking up with a gorgeous boa staring him in the face. lol.

As for border ideas.. how about a patern similar to Corvid's
avitar pic (if they don't mind :)), with patterns of all types of snakes?

Kind of like the border of the pic in Your avitar (?)

And.... if you have an over abundance of pics...
How about matching Pillow Covers and or Sheets (?)
