    got to check this out.
I inserted these photos into another guys post hitting on the topic of females eating males but i thought everyone would like to see this. These are radiographs of a boa that ate a puff ader that ate a rat. The guy brings in his boa to the vet i worked at for 7 years. Says his boa is ADR(aint doin right) and his puff ader is missing. Swares they were not housed together. Well the boa ate the puff ader. The Puff ader had recently ate a rat. MY question was how did the boa get out. Get in the other animals enclosure and bak in his without you knowing?

There was old snake who swallowed a snake to eat the mouse that crawled inside.

I don't know why she swallowed the mouse, perhaps she'll die.

Please tell me someone here gets the reference.

I moved this thread to General herps since it had nothing to do with BP's or breeding for that matter.

Not housed together he says:rolleyes: My bet is that it was feeding time... he feeds the puff adder and then the boa somes around and smells the rodent on the PA. Could also be that he feeds them together, takes them outside of their cages puts them together throws a mouse in, waits for one to eat takes it out and then feeds the other. Soo many ways, yet the boa sneaking into the adders cage after getting out of its just doesnt seem right.

Did the venom ever affect the boa after being digested?

Re: got to check this out.
No venom is a protein so it is usually digestable and breaks down.
