You must have some darn happy lizards. I assume you'll be getting eggs this year?

I hope so, but I never count my lizards before they hatch. lol. The female reds look like they could go as long as they let the male do his thing, not that he hasn't been begging. He reminds me of a hormonal teenager, I can't help but smile and laugh when I watch him.

    Thanks for the comment.
Buying the tools is a good start. I know how expensive it can get. What are you making the cage out of?

Wood mainly but lined. As I hate sliding doors so it'll be a hinged door( I have glass). Atleast a group of 3 spot lights, a hide, climping branches. I think I might just visit a habitat for humanity restore as it might be cheaper in the end and might give me better idea's. I'm going to be building it inside as I'm in ontario and it gets cold but next Summer I'll be building a sun enclosure for day trips.

    Very cool!

How well will they drain? Or will there be a roof? I have seen enclosures that were built so well to prevent escapees from digging out, that a good hard rain would fill them like a swimming pool!

Re: A few of my tegus and enclosure
Thanks for the comments. The enclosure has a wire bottom so drainage shouldn't be a problem. When they are completely done I will get more pics of them.

Re: A few of my tegus and enclosure
Nice tegus and nice enclosures. I am in Canada so that kind of enclosure is only useful in the summer, but mine get supervised free roam in the yard in the summer.

    Again, well done!

Re: A few of my tegus and enclosure
No i got her from someone in PA, i traded the smaller Argus i had so i can just have 2.2 Argus. I'm thinking of buying a male for her but i could use that 500 to make a larger cage for my other animals.
Heres a pic of her, she is 10 months, i took these when i unpacked her.

Re: A few of my tegus and enclosure
Yeah that was the guy. Do you know who or where she came from. I know you said she wasn't from Dave, if she came from florida then it was underground. If she came from California then she is a cross.
Also I just got another female blue so I have 2.3 adults.
    Thanks
