Funny Story

So I bought some snakes from a guy recently that is getting out of the business. I didn't think of ultra sounding this nice big female ghost that I got it. I should have though. I was in the snake room this morning and decided to check on her to see how she was doing and to my surprise she had laid eggs. I think that only one egg is going to make it she had three good ones but only one candled good. I guess it was a little added bonus. Now I have to figure out what he bred her to.

Just a quick question, ive always wondered this if it happened to me. Will you be splitting the money that you make from these with the guy should he ask for it?

Well Matt it looks like only one egg is going to make it from what I can see. I just learned that he bred the Ghost to a Caramel. So the lone egg will be a double het. That is great it will diversify my Caramel Glow bloodline.

Also Matt I don't think someone should have to pay for a baby hatched from a snake that they bought with cash and the person didn't know was gravid. Just my thoughts.

Ah ok, I was just always thinking because I know that some times things get rough and you have to sell snakes that might have bred. What would you do if he demanded the baby snake or something?

i totally agree with you there brock, why should you have to give up a baby dbl het when the person who you brought the snake from didnt have a clue.

lets just hope its a feamle for you brock, your caramel glow male looks like he would be up for it anyways, or who knows what you'll have by the time shes big enough!

Don't worry about it. I just wouldn't give up something I paid for. If it was a good friend I might hook them up. I am sorry if I came off a little rough.
