    Very worried...looking for help.
Hey all, since I got my JCP she has had a lump in her belly closer toward the front of her body. At first I though it was a prey item but now i'm not totally sure. It seems to have gotten bigger. Now, I fed her a few days ago so I guess there is still a chance it is a new prey item. I just didn't think the lump would be so far up in her stomach and stay there that long.

Here are a few pics (I tried my best to show the lump):

Also, even since I got her she has spent all her time hiding. This is probably normal but I'm just trying to give a little background info. I got her about a week and a half ago.

If anyone could help me out I would really appreciate it.

If it's not gone by monday I'd go see a Vet. I'm thinking there may be some heart stuff going on there.

    Good luck.

Don't know if it'll be fatal. Like I said, if it doesn't go down A LOT by monday, to the Vet you should go.

thank you all. Im going to have a talk with the petstore and see if a switch out can be arranged. I just don't have the money to deal with a sick snake.

    Poor girl.

If it's a pet store snake I would ABSODAMNLUTELY return it NOW.

    Don't wait until tomorrow.

I thought you had gotten it from a breeder who may have not noticed, though I was skeptical about that as well, the swelling and sent it off to you anyway.

    Return it.

Maybe, return the snake and buy from a reputable breeder?

Good luck on the return. Poor little guy. :(

Well, I'd return it to the store, but still take care of it there and see if there's anything you can do to help.

Just because you can return it doesn't mean it shouldn't visit a vet.

You paid for a healthy snake. They should exchange it. I hope things work out in your favor. Vet bills can be expensive. Jason Bowden

That was my reason for return. If I have to I will pay for a vet bill, but they can be damn expensive.

To let everyone know I exchanged it no problem for a carpet from a different clutch.

She is a CostalxJungle cross and she just took a rat pup :).

You make a good point dutch. I feel like I have alot to offer to this petstore. I'm definently going to keep an eye on my ex jungle.

Thanks again for all of you alls support. Yall really jumped on the issue.
