He's still wheezing.

:( Ok I think I read all the threads here about Ris. If you remember I posted that I had heard my BP squeak once when I scared him. I thought all was well because he had not done it again and no other symptoms. Well he is making the occasional wheeze since yesterday. Just one or two here and there. A very low eeek. I have to have him close to my ear to hear it and it isn't constant. I am going to list some details could someone please let me know thier opinion. I think we have 1 reptile vet in Pineville I can get my mom to bring him if he needs to go.

1) random wheeze since yesterday.
2) no neck stretching or yawning
3) no snot that I can see.
4) warm hide temp is 90 ambient is 83.
5)he ate well saturday
6) can see his body expand and contract with breathing. (don't know if thats imporatnt but you can't see my corn breathing) I'm worried this means its labored.
7) I dont see any stuck shed but it's possible

I hear my BPs wheeze from time to time.

And I can always see them breath. As long as there's no mucous or bubbles or loud constant wheezing I think there's nothing to worry about.

Monitor it closely.

Thanks I am. I even did as the article here said and pried open his mouth to check for mucus, all clear there but boy was he pissed! I also listened to him with my Mom's stethoscope, didn't hear anything wheeze like. He's hiding now, he probably hates me.

I'm betting that it's a very minor RI in an early stage. At this point, no vet attention is required, but at the first sighting of mucous or star-gazing, a vet checkup is a good idea.

But I could be wrong. I have heard my BP wheeze from time to time.

Oh maybe you could raise the temperatures slightly in the cage, just in case it is a minor RI.

I think I remember seeing a recent post from you about your snake being about to shed. Has he shed yet? Sometimes as the skin is starting to loosen a loose piece in their nose can make whistling sounds when they breathe. Even if he has shed, if that is when the noise started, I would say it is possible that a little piece got left behind.

Definitely watch him very closely, and if it gets worse, go to the vet.

I have heard differently. Humidity grows bacteria. And humidity levels that are too high can cause an RI, especially if the temps are low.

I'm no expert, so don't take my word for it, but I think that increased humidity can make an RI worse.

Bacteria causes infections, not just high humidity. I can have snakes sitting in 100% humidity and they're perfectly fine if they just dumped a waterbowl.

If a snake has a respiratory infection, regardless of how minor, you can't just up the temps and humidity and think it's gone. It's an infection and will persist regardless of how much you try to cover it up.

If the snake is whistling, it may have shed in the nasal passages, the humidity may be too low, etc. Try upping the temperatures to a good 93-94 warm side and 82-84 warm side. These temps are good for year round. They shouldn't dip below 90 on warm side, 80 on cool side. Humidity 55-65, not under 50%.
