How bad do females look after laying???

I just had a 3000+ girl slug out on me. 10 slugs and 1 65gm boob egg. Now she doens't look like she lost anything....

How many eggs did she lay? Are they possible snows?? Too cool..

Is it just me or is it easier to "see" the albinos physique because of their light color? I don't think a pic of a normal in the same condition would look as pronounced......

Oh jeez..! D8 That poor girl! Makes me squeamish to look at her! Congratulations on the eggs, but ewww, she looks so bad! I hope she gains some weight again really fast!

They do tend to re-bound really well - but it is rather shocking to see how emaciated your female who was a fat hinied beauty the day before looks after laying eggs.

It's one reason I don't believe that I'll ever maternally incubate. I'd rather get them back on food and back up to tip-top shape!

Congrats on the clutch Heather and yes they do look like a flat tire but this one is a real hot flat tire ;)

My girl was flat as pancake after she laid. She went from 1850 grams to 1300. But less than a month later she's already at 1500+ & working hard at getting bigger...lol. I am so happy everytime she eats a rat (she actually had two smalls this week since she looked so hungry). I don't think I could stomach maternal incubation if they won't eat for 2 months.

Heather that is one pretty flat tire of a snake.

She was around 1500 grams and now she is around 1100..
