Google Chrome - Who Uses It?

I decided to after YEARS of using IE, change to a new browser and I chose Google Chrome. I'm LOVING the speed of loading pages now! IE locked me up all the time!

Who else has tried Google Chrome?

I use google chrome also works great for the myspace mobsters app. :)

Is it really that much faster? I've been using Firefox and Safari for Windows. Is it worth me checking out, or are you just happier with it that IE?

I actually downloaded it for some Facebook apps and WOW!

Jake, I've not used any other browser, besides IE, so I can only compare it to that. However, people that use one of the apps that I used it on, have stated they've moved from FF to Google Chrome. I guess I'd say you'd have to try it and see.

I'm quite pleased so far!

One feature I really like - when you open a new tab, there are like nine thumbnails of recently visited sites that open in that tab.

I just installed it. I'll give it a try.

Safari has a feature that makes the entire page a scrollable set of 3D thumbnails of the sites you've visited, with the most visited sites being first. It looks nice, but I don't think I like those kinds of features. :D

Tried it, but went back to firefox for the plugin extensions.

That's the only thing holding me back from using Chrome too. I read somewhere that support should be added in the next couple of months.

Never used FF, so I can't advise you on that. I just know I'm loving it so far!

i used firefox on my moms comp,and switched mine to google chrome and i LOVE it,,also liek the incognito feature,where you can open a new tab,and anythign you do on it doesnt show in history or temp internet or anything,not that i use it,but its nice to have the option if a lot of people use the comp(used it to plan romantic stuff for my ex)

I've been a diehard firefox fan for the past few years. I heard about chrome and was wondering if its any good and it sounds about right time to try it out, but... i have a mac. Anybody know if/when they will get a mac version?

Opera browser is the best.

I tried Chrome, it was nifty but nothing I didn't already have with Firefox, espcially after going to FF 3.1 Beta 3. Chrome to me is just another browser I gotta double check for compatibility :P.

My friend has Chrome, and I've used it. It's very nice and would be my choice after Firefox.

However, I refuse to upgrade to Firefox 3. Unless they change something.

I've used it since it was first released, and really like it.

It's much better than Internet Explorer, IMO.

After getting firefox a few years ago I realize how bad IE sucks. I still have to refer to it for some sites because it's all they load the programming for and it's horrible. From the discussion here, I'm best with FF.

IE8 isn't bad, but I stopped using it because I don't like their lack of flexibility. FF has nice addons, but they're not compatible with a few websites/features (Microsoft, of course) like MS Exchange OWA and I've had issues with memory leaks.

With that said, I'll give Chrome a try. I don't ask for many bells and whistles from a browser other than not bogging down my CPU/memory and flexible tab bars. I like to have the ability to open dozens of pages and select a tab instead of open a tab "window" like IE8 or scroll through tabs.
