Jamar Odom, BAD

I sent him Money 2 and a Half months ago. He has made countless excuses not to ship, and refuses to give me his Phone number, always saying I'll call you because I have free outgoing minutes on my phone. Anyways I am in the procces of taking legal action against him. STAY AWAY from this seller everyone. He WAS a member from Kingsnake.com classifieds, but his account is no longer active.

How much did you send him, and for what?

I would also post this info on www.faunaclassifieds.com. He will see you are not playing games with him,plus it will warn others about him.

Wow! I hope you recoup your losses! I've been scammed via the 'net before myself so I know how it feels, but not to that tune of money! I hope it all works out for you. He's definitely NOT on my list of potential breeders to buy from!!!

Whoa, that's a crapload of money. I would never do a transaction worth more then $250 or so via net because i'm afraid to get scammed. The only time I do business via net, is if I can contact the person by phone and have an address for them, that way if they scam me I can go pay them a visit, mobster style. I seriously hope you either somehow get your snakes, or get your money back.

I contacted Kingsnake.com, IC3.com wich is a FBI internet fraud website, and now just warning others before he gets them too. He Claims he is going to ship the snakes still(wont hold my breathe), He is from Reynoldsburg Ohio, and claims that he is moving to Georgia "somewhere" still refuses to talk on the phone.

At this point I am hopeful and if all the things he says is true..I'll feel bad for posting this, but heck ive waited long enough I think.:please:

Well according to his last email, He was suppossed to ship Monday this week. He sent a email 2 weeks ago claiming he will ship this week.
Its Obvious he isnt planning on shipping, now its down to play Hardball and exercise a Whole lot of patience letting the Authorities deal with him.

I hope you paid with a credit card!

With credit cards you can claim fraud and get your money back. We had to against Sylar of Appalachian exotics. (I think that was the name....)

Paypal told us we won, but couldnt return our money since he took it out of the account. At least with CC's your protected. At least we were.

Sorry about this situation. If you paid via-credit card then you'll be in luck. I think paypal might have a fraud situation as well.

Paypal sucks with refunds. You have the option to "buy" protection, but if you make a claim against someone the will freeze th efunds in the account till its resolved. Bad thing is if you spent 2k, and they have 28 dollars in the account, thats all you get

OK Updates... Since you asked.

I have not got my money back.
He scammed at least one more person on kingsnake, apparrently sold them MY snakes, and they were DOA, that person fought with the banks because JAMAR isnt actually Jamar, he is Terrel Johnson. He signed the check as Jamar Odom Pay to the order of Terrel Owens(my check), but since he signed it incorrectly the other people were refunded 1300$. He also signed my check over too. So I have contacted my bank and attempting to get a refund. This
guy didnt accidentally scam me, he sold my snakes to someone else, they had the snakes examined by a herp vet due to DOA and determined the snakes were dead for extended period of time.

I have had great cooperation with Kingsnake.com
and the other victims, I think theres more.

Im still not getting anywhere with this....but heck, Learning lessons sometimes arent fun. I will update if I get a refund. BTW the house I mailed the check to has been sold, and I have no idea how to contact the seller anymore. Lets hope my bank can help me resolve this.

Man that really sucks, I was hoping to hear something good came out of it, at least a refund. I tell you, I had a few emails and a few phone calls with him about that cinny female, something just didnt sit right. I didnt understand why he kept calling prom a private number, now I know. I hope it works out.

He'll most likely resurface again somewhere down the road. Just be wary and keep your feelers out for him. He'll get his just rewards, it's only a matter of time. ;)

I firmly believe in the old saying "what goes around, comes around". He will get his, some day. I just wish you had a better ending to your interactions with him.

BTW Terrel and Teresa Johnson are the scammers, Jamar doesnt exist. Be careful sending them money. They sign the checks "pay to the order of" and use fake names, yet cash the checks at their own bank. National City Bank, and that bank refuses to help.
