They had a few good points, but the "animals" they sell are but a small part of the animals that would be affected. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad we have them on our side. But I hope they're also fighting for the animals that they don't sell too...I hope that didn't come out wrong

I very rarely agree with PetSmart but I am glad they are on our side. Now if we could get Purina and Evo and some of the other pet food companies on our side it would go a long way.

i'm sorry but it just always bothers me when someone speaks for EVERY store or accuses EVERY store. It's just a weak argument. Find one store and your argument is done.

Mine is informed but isn't doing anything anyway.
so i will agree with your flyer or notice comment ;)

everyone is brushing it off as "oh, they wouldn't pass something like that". that's the irritating part.

has any1 been able 2 get ahold of any1 from animal planet? if they did some kind of commercial it would be so helpful as most of their watchers are animal lovers. if animal planet got involved... talk about really getting the word out!! we all should send AP emails!!!

many of Animal Planet shows feature the 'humane society'. I doubt they'd touch it.

i think they would... imagine how boring that channel would be if bunnies GP's birds etcetera weren't allowed as pets.

lets not just assume they wont get involved.. we need 2 at least TRY!

like i said if they did a commercial think of how MANY animal lovers would see it!

I agree with petsmart on this one, there should be more control on the actual harmful invasive non-native species. But of course, nothing like what is being proposed. The issues down in florida with huge pythons being released into the everglades is a massive problem that needs addressing. But again, it needs to be addressed in a proper manner with people who are educated about those species contributing. These animals when released have no natural preditors in the everglades, meaning they can grow, multiply and eat whatever they need and their population will not be naturally kept down, disrupting the ecosystem.
