Florida State Seminoles

Let's see what they can do this year, hopefully better then the past few years. I would like to see them powerhouse like they did in the 90's. When they had Peter Warrick & Warrick Dunn. Those were the days.

...please knock off Florida...I will be a big FSU fan then. :P

I am so tired of hearing about Tebow...there are other athletes that play for the gators.

I can't stand Florida, and Tebow is more over-rated then anybody that plays college football. If Florida State could land a decent qb, and a good offensive line, and maybe a solid running back they would be awesome. Their defense every year is awesome, but you get tired when you spend most of the time on the field. I believe last year 2 or 3 of their linemen were true freshmans, then they've never really had a good qb period. No good running backs since Warrick Dunn, but i'm still a loyal fan. Hopefully they will do something this year.

Man I still can't believe that cheating thing may end up costing Bobby Bowden 14 wins. That totally sucks.

UM and florida state need to get back to the top.

I agree with you 100%. Both schools were always great contenders, then over the years, I don't know what happened?

Uh oh, I see a nice upset in place:

Florida State - 47
Brigham Young - 21

Florida State was ranked in the top 20, but lost it when they lost their season opener vs Miami 38-34. That is always a rough game. However Brigham Young is ranked #7.

Lets not forget last week though, down to Jacksonville State with only 35 seconds left :rolleye2:

Let's not forget they have one of the best QB's in college football either. Ryan Perrilloux. I went to school with him and played football with him one year, and 2 years against him. He is a great athlete. Not sure why Florida State struggled that game, but I know they had 3 turn overs, and Ponder didn't have any passing touchdowns. It will be a good season for them, but FSU for the last decade hasn't had a decent QB. I want to say the last good QB they had was Chris Weinke.

The U is back Jacory Harris is awesome, I think we can win the ACC. I say we win it all in 2 yrs.

Harris is good, Ponder I really don't think is that good of a QB. That's what FSU lacks every year.

No it's not, really. They haven't been a contender for quite sometime now. This year will be no different.

The U is looking impressive. You can't take anything away from them after winning two games they which they were not suppose to...@FSU and GT.

If they can continue this and get wins against VT and OU, they have a good chance of running the tables...

Sure, they are good, but I don't see them beating Florida.

Yep. I'm talking about BCS. I think Miamis toughest game is coming up within the next week or 2.

UM@VT is at 2:30 central tomorrow right? I'm looking forward to that one, hope Miami gets the win.

But, you know, if they go to the national they won't be playing Florida- it'll be the Crimson Tide :D

I was going to bring up the same thing... Miami is so good this year. I saw their last game and I was blown away... didn't realize they had put together such a great team this year.

Well those 3 Florida teams are always going to be a tough game between the 3 when they play.

It's not looking good for them right now versus USF. They're down 14-0, but hopefully they can pull it together and win.

I am pulling for FSU for you NEAL!

Plus last time KU played USF, KU lost!

I don't think it's going to happen. They were at the 7-8 yard line, and look at the outcome:

(5:05) Dustin Hopkins missed a field goal of 44 yards.

Their K missed the FG, not to mention the QB Ponder who sucks bad, was sacked twice, 1st & 3rd down. USF over the last year or so has come to beat some better teams. I really didn't think USF would be an issue, even though a year or 2 ago they finished pretty good, but boy was I wrong. I got to go to work early so hopefully they pull through.

California got completely handled by Oregon, LSU very, very nearly was beat by Miss St, FSU and Penn St both lost, yep college ball never fails to entertain

I know man. I can't believe that Oregon did that to Cal. I thought it would be a hard game, but I never expected Oregeon to man handle Cal.

Worst start in 35 years. I will always think they are a top 25 team. Every great team has bad years.

Atleast some of the schools they are playing aren't horrible ones. lol.

I hope they will bounce back. They really need a good QB. The D isn't nearly close to as good as it was in the past.
