That monitor looked like it had a mite on it's neck.

Nice black motley though, are you sure the person just didn't die or something?

Holy crap, I think the snake I just adopted came from there! The rescue lady said he had been taken from a house with tons of other animals (she said either 20 or 50 snakes) and the people weren't taking care of them. I wonder...

That's the problem with the exotics industry... it's been underground for so many years it attracts some real scumbags. Those poor animals. It's nice to see that the media didn't spin this to look bad for the animals but instead more of a sympathy story for them. That's rare these days.

    Good ending, for most.

I have no idea what is involved with condemning a house, so maybe - juuuuust maybe, the house was condemned and because of that, the owners were not allowed back in to get their animals?

Just a theory - i mean, the media always spins stories and spews garbage. This "condemned and abandoned house" could have a home owner that is trying desperately to get back inside to rescue his animals.

Well, that's highly doubtful....these people got in and rescued the animals, so the owners could have as well (yeah, I'm arguing with myself)

    Anyway... Just sayin.

Very Strange. If their home was taken from them you would think these people most likely had finacial problems. Why didn't they sell the animals? Very curious to know what happened..

Those poor animals! I'm glad they're being taken care of now. Too bad it was too late for some. I'm glad the news story wasn't all negative about the reptiles. Still not good publicity for reptile keepers though.
