    Ok I know that ball pythons are nocturnal, but mine wanders amlessly around her cage!!! Does any of yours do that????

    They'll tend to do that when they aren't comfortable. What are your temps? How are you measuring them? What kind of hides do you have?

    Sometimes they do it, and other times it means they'res possibly something wrong, I would go over everything, and double check all.

    The cool side is ~83
    The Hot side is ~94
    i am using zoo med 500R thermostats and i have zilla thermometers.
    i have a mediun reptile basics hide and one that i made myself out of styrofoam.

    She has her nose up against the glass and just follows it, and some times bumps into is.. but not hard just really lightly!!!

    i rechecked EVERYTHING that could be wrong...temp, humidity, something in the cage, EVERYTHING!!!!

    Well she just shed so i fed her twice this week but i usually fed her every 7 days!!!

    Have you changed anything in the enclosure recently? They remember where and how stuff is placed and if it changes, they check out everything (re-map it so to say). This could look like wondering I guess.

    What do you mean by wonder aimlessly?

    All of my ball pythons are out at night and seeming to "wonder around" at some point...a few times they have been out in the day, but at night they usually are very active. Mainly they are trying to figure out how to get out of the enclosure, but then once morning comes everyone is usually back in their hides resting until the next night. :D

    She is '08 hatchling, and she is about 530grams

    and Coils, that is exactly what she does, so she is probably just trying to get out!!!

    Then I wouldn't worry about her at all, especially if all your temps and things are normal and have been checked, as long as she is mainly hiding during the day she should be alright....they are just active during the night.
