White Plains! Who's going?

The White Plains show is two weeks from tomorrow. I can't wait. I keep having to miss reptile shows for one reason or another. But this one I am definitely going to no matter what!

I really want a bigger cage for my corn as he is outgrowing his, and plus he seems to have developed a love of climbing stuff. But I'm not sure if I'll find something there worth buying... If not I might pick up another BP ;)

Anyone else going? And what are you shopping for?

And, anyone know if BHB is going to be there?

We are planning on going...I cannot wait!

I don't know if I'll be buying much....although I can't seem to walk out of an expo empty handed.

I'll be there. Gonna be on the lookout for a nice female beardie, possibly a pair of cresteds, but definitely looking for some nice ball pythons. I wish they allowed sales of rodents with eyes opennn. Maybe i can find some hoppers, I don't know. BHB is listed as a vendor on the vendor list, so I'm hoping to see them there. I didn't know they were gonna be at the last show, otherwise I would have went :(

well we will have hoppers and pinkys at the table . and i also wish we were allowed to bring food with eyes open cause we would have alot more available for sale .

I would love to go but I have heard nightmare stories about overinflated prices for pets and supplies. I have a hard time going to an event such as this and paying two or three times what I would pay through "normal" channels.

my family and i will be going my oldest boy will be picking out his birthday snake at the show.

You've really been misinformed. I've gotten some great deals at the White Plains show and have always had a great time there. Bruce and his wife run one of the best shows around and whether you're an attendee or a vendor, you won't be disappointed.

I'll be there on the 19th ... not sure if I'll be vending or just hanging out this time, but I won't be hard to miss. I'll be the guy trying to cut off Brian@BHB's pony tail!!!! ;)

I will be there but early. I have ticket to the 1 o'clock Yankees game. I really need a bunch of F/T feeders. I am picking up two new racks from Reptile Basics. A New Female Pin from the MAN Brian B. Looking for some new enclosures for Green Trees. I am sure there will be other things as well.

I cant make it cause my wife is having a baby on the 16th. I wanted to pick up a new cage and RHP. Since I can't go, a friend who is will have a shopping list from me.

ill be there, gotta pick up some F/T rats & mice... then i gotta speed off to work right after !

I _may_ be there in the afternoon. Fundage is a bit on the tight side, but love the show! Never know exactly what I'll find when I go, but I always know I'll find something I wish I could bring home - and at a _way_ better price than "normal channels"!!

Hey TheVipersHouse - Don't know if you're the fellow I've bought rats & lab block from in the past, but if so, will you have lab block on Sunday?

Talked with a guy who went to the show and told me he couldn't get anything for a decent price there. Found a Pastel he really liked but wasn't going to pay $750 for a Pastel. I wasn't there myself so I can't verify his story, but he has dozens of snakes and is always looking to add to his collection.
I dunno, maybe once a person is established and recognized at the shows then he or she gets some better prices. All I know is what I've been told by several people who have gone to that show.
I'll try going sometime in the future when I'm not stuck working the weekend. I'll see for myself what the deal is...

I'll be there, great show...great people. Bruce is an A+ guy and runs a nice clean expo.

Do you mean $75?...because unless this story is 5 years old, NO one is selling a pastel for $750 unles it was het for something great!

I would have to totally agree. I always get great deals at this show.
