Sperm plugs?

I dont get it? do we see them when they breed?

I would only see it when I get it out of the male.
When you apply pressure to the male as if you were popping him this would come out, or sperm goo.

That is really...gross..

By popping, I sometimes use the sperm plug with picky breeders ;)

now im not a pro by any means, but one interesting thing i've read is that some people will take the sperm plugs from one breeding male, and put it in the tub with a male/female pair, when the male isn't doing his part. kind of like putting an old shed of a breeding/building/gravid female in with a girl that's being frigid. :D it gets them thinking about the competition and gets them in the mood easier. or so i've read.

Interesting... How can you get them? Do you get them by popping males? Man I wish I could buy one of those in a store to kickstart my male pastel :P

Wow, have never seen them like -that- before, usually they come out of my male all seperated and very very small when he's popped XP

I pop a male that is not breeding get the sperm plug and smear it on a female's back than I place the male I plan on breeding to her in her enclosure.

It seems to do the trick with some stubborn males.
