Asian Blue Beauty Eggies!! (DUW)

To my complete surprise, I found a clutch of eight fertile eggs from my pair of Blue Beauties! I didn't even pair them up to do anything but cool them off for a week. Once I found out we were moving to Michigan, all breeding plans ceased. These guys managed to sneak one in on me though, but I'm happy they did!

The dam was extremely attentive and protective of her eggs. I am so proud of her.

It generally takes 55-60 days. I'm already 6 days into it, sooooo..In no time I'm going to have little Blue demons slithering all over the place!

They actually do kind of look like Ball Python eggs. I didn't notice it myself until you mentioned it. :P

They are extremely fascinating, and quite intelligent. They just hate all tools (snake hooks, cameras, etc). If you keep shiny things away from them, they are pretty laid back.

My male is quite a bit more aggressive than the female. Both can be free handled if you are careful. Neither has ever nailed me, but they do strike at you occasionally. It's more of a warning though.

Not too terribly much, you can check KS for prices. I think someone had a few yearling's listed.
