I want to take a trip there really badly. It seems eerie and an interesting place to visit and pay respect.

Loved that level on COD4. Was really well done as you can see by the pictures. Loved that level, I heard Fallout 3 was crap though. Any comments?

You may be thinking of the ending. Game play was awesome, and the reviews I read pretty much back that up.

Just.... dont read about the ending... you'll not want to play. :gj:

I enjoyed Fallout 3 but I probably spent too much time putting hand grenades in peoples pockets.

The pictures of the town are amazing. It is incredibly eerie!!!!

It is exactly what I imagine what the world would look like if the human race ceased to exist!

i knew a girl that lived not far from there. its not good at all their whole village has a very high cancer rate. most ppl end up losing their teeth. alot of baldness. there is no ground water at all that is drinkable. when i see pics of this it really makes me think of her and hope that she got far away from there. i cleaned up this post quite a bit and believe me this is the least amount i could say without really getting everyone sick.

I watched a documentary, there are still people that live too close to the site. School children are still checked regularly, ground water/streams are still contaminated, the orphanages are full of deformed babies. sad very very sad.

I was thinking; that gas mask in the last pic, would be worth a lot on ebay. But who would want to touch it! I would have trouble visiting that site; I like to take souvenirs (even a rock, or a twig, something like that) when I go places. I certainly would not want to touch anything there.
It made me sad to see the school pictures, most of all. Like everything was dropped in the middle of a regular day, and seeing those schoolbooks and stuff, and amusement park rides.. it brought a tear to my eye.

Those pictures are unbelievable... I remember that year... we were part of higher exposure of radiation area (red dot is my place).
