SnakeBytesTV-Photography with Am Wu

We had a blast having Am Wu out to photograph the collection. He took over 5000 photos while he was here. So we featured him on this weeks show. damn that show made me feel dumb with my camera haha, most under rated tip ever!!! read the manual, i need to do that big time.... great tips from him and what a setup he had, awsome show brian and that superstripe is unreal!!

Awesome show Brian! ... Am Wu is one of the nicest guys around and a blast to hang out with, he said that he had a great time at your place! Oh, and that you kept him super busy with all of the awesome animals! ;)

Great episode, Brian! I had to send the link to my brother who is a professional photographer (and loves herps - but more on a field herping level).

My favorite in this show was the Super Stripe!! Amazing man.

But why was he reminding them of all those good tips on how to set their cameras... when all they seemed to have were disposables? :D

I shot my sister's snakes in a similar setup, but mine was a little more makeshift, lol. I don't usually shoot collections, but people and wildlife. I didn't use the umbrella on the flash because I bounced it off a big reflector right over the balls.

Wu got some really nice shots, will be looking for the rest on your site.

The disposable cameras were just for fun. It was a spoof, we couldn't set any settings with $5 cameras. The more you watch the show you'll realize that we screw around all the time:) Glad that you found us:) Thanks for everyone watching, Brian(BHB)

Brian, that was definitely a stellar episode. Thank you so much for having Am Wu on. The tips he gave were awesome. I am so proud of you guys. You've come leaps and bounds since that one episode. -Sheepish grin!-

Glad you liked it. I'm really trying hard to have a different approach to the show since my " wake up call". That doesn't mean we'll have great shows all the time. We try our hardest, there's so much that goes into it. Sometimes the idea is good but the execution just doesn't meet the standards. And we still want to have fun with some foolish skits and so on. I don't think you'll be seeing a "bite offs" or a "blend" show anytime in the future.lol As always I'm open for ideas, please send then if you have any. I'll try to cover what you think people would want to see. Thanks, Brian(BHB)
