Three More Snakes.. Er Two and a Worm
Well after picking up the last two (Albino and Mojave) I knew that there were a couple more morphs I wanted to grab soon for future projects. VMS has been having a free shipping deal for this month and I have been stewing over seizing the chance.

I just placed an order for 2 new BP's and a worm.

I have really loved Cinnamons kind of like the way I love Mojaves, only more chocolaty. :weirdface

    1.0 Cinnamon

I love what the Hypo gene can do to any morph and it is still stunning by itself.

    1.0 Ghost
    http://i621.photobucket.com/albums/t...n280z/Hypo.jpg

My girl has been begging me for one of these little guys for a while and I have a soft spot for them as well. I'm pretty sure his name is Panda.

    1.0 Anery Sand Boa

I guess I should note that these pictures were taken by VMS, I have only placed the order and don't have the snakes in my possession yet. I'm just excited :taz:. I will update as soon as they come. I believe they will arrive Wednesday!

Stunning group of animals you have there! That is one of the nicer hypos I've seen! I have to admit though, I have a soft spot for wormies. :D

Thanks guys! I am super excited! :taz:

I have planned on making a purchase from VMS for a long time. I have heard nothing but great things and they have some awesome snakes. I just thought I would be getting a corn from them.. I've been wanting a Bloodred Amel (Fire) to pair to my two Bloodred hets (one Amel, one het Amel). I guess I'll have to wait 'till they have another deal like this.

I don't think I have seen a hypo this nice for anything close to what I paid. They still have a few more but this guy stood out from the rest. I can't wait to see what he looks like in person!

I have been wanting a Cinnamon for a while and this guy definitely fit what I was looking for. I can't get over the face in the pic, look at the eyes!

I will definitely be taking pics when they arrive, don't worry about that. :gj:

Re: Three More Snakes.. Er Two and a Worm
Well.. due to a number of reasons, my snakes will not be arriving today.. or this week for that matter. :rage:

I tried to write everything out without it sounding like I was badmouthing VMS to no avail.. So I'll just keep this rant short..

    Long story short:
PayPal charged the wrong account, caused me an overdraft and a headache filled day. The account information I filled out through VMS was not used, instead PayPal info was used and I didn't receive confirmation emails. I thought PayPal would only be used for the actual payment since I filled out a form before being re-directed to PayPal. It was too cold to ship today anyway but VMS only ships one day a week so I have no idea when I will get them. This is frustrating because the next two days would be warm enough but after that the temperatures are dropping again.

Moral: I will just stick to somewhat smaller breeders from now on. I would prefer to be able to SPEAK to someone next time and would prefer to place my next order over the phone. This email tag is not something I want to deal with again and the only response I have received sounded automated.
I have already missed work because of the banking issues and with starting a new job within my company next week, it is going to be difficult to take off to accept the package.

NOTE: This is my first time ordering snakes online but not my first reptiles. Ordering my Beardie (from a large breeder) was a much more pleasant experience and I had expected a similar experience through VMS. I am in NO WAY insisting that people avoid VMS but simply stating that it isn't right for ME. I'm sure i am one of the very few that have had problems as I have heard nothing but great things. I am 100% confident that I will receive great, healthy animals. However, next time I would rather pay a little extra for the kind of service I expect.

At least my quarantine for them is all setup and I can monitor it for at least another week.. :gj:
