Crazy Cool Score?

Well my girlfriend (thatkindofgirl) works at an emergency 24hr animal hospital, and these were dropped of at a partnering facility. There is 5 more coming tomorrow of unknown species, and my QT will be very very full, but I think that even if I were to adopt them out, it would be nice.


(tubs were marked with sexes, will be determined later)


First, a Female Solomon Island Tree Boa???

That is water on the tip of the Args tail. All have passed my visual inspection, and have passed the Vets inspection, although I wouldnt trust that as much as I could through the Vet herself.

That tree boa's colors are amazing.

It amazes me what people will just give away.

Now that I think about it, its Solomon Island Ground Boa...LOL

It's definately a ground boa and one of the nicest I've ever seen. Nice score there Pattimuss.

Ground Boa, Tree boa, whatever it is, it still looks awesome.:gj:

That Argentine is a handsome fellow. I love the dark boas.

That Ground Boa is wicked awesome! Love the Argentine too! I'd keep them both, forget adopting them out. :P

I was kinda thinking that earlier. But the guys girlfriend was moving in, and a person my girl works with knows him and insured that they could definitely help get rid of them.

Aaahhhh, the perks of working in the veterinary field and being the ONLY one at the facility that is into herps....... I don't think we could have lucked out any more... I had no idea what types of boas were being dropped off to me, and "pleasantly surprised" doesn't even begin to explain it, they are gorgeous!! I can't wait until tomorrow to see what the other 5 look like....... :D

How is the disposition of that one? I've been wanting the tree boa for a while.

Most of the Solomons I've seen are grey, with maybe some brown for contrast. Red on cream? Dude, that's beyond amazing! That thing's like a mini-ultra-breit! I've always kind of liked the Argentines, 'cept I've heard they can be cranky. He's a handsome feller fer sure though! (Kind of like the leopard boas for the same sort of look in a smaller, sweeter packet)

Also how is there temperment, i was considering one and was wondering if it was anything like a BCI's.

actually, it's a tree boa. there is a difference. and that is a solomon TREE boa. but it can also be found in indonesia. :)

Yes, it is a different species. But there is a difference in head size and the whole look of the body that differentiates a tree boa and a ground boa from the genus candoia
