just went in to check on my girls and one of them was haveing babys just noticed a belly on her today, so far only 2 hoping for more though what is the avarage for a first litter?

the 2 girls i have picture in my other post still haven't had theres though and the all black one is as big as a soft ball

welp its morning now and only 2 babys, Is that common for a first time litter?

Not common, but not uncommon. Sorry. Where did you get your stock from, seems like you are having a lot of problems with them.

just had another litter of 13, will take some pictures when my wife gets back she is out of town right now wont be back till monday night and she has my camare

im up over 50 babys now, its about time tired of paying for rats, still have 8-10 more girls do within a week or so :D

me too i always seem to need more no matter how many i breed but buying 50-60 rats a month is better than buying 200+ a month

Do you guys euthanize the pinks before freezing, or just freeze them? :confused: Also, does it have adverse effects on the mother to take them when she hasn't gotten rid of any milk yet?
