    Escape!
My Mojo Monty got out.... I had accidentally left his cage open and was thawing a mouse outside so he immediately got out. I was at the gym when this happened and when I got home to feed him he was gone. A frantic search by my family and I led to his discovery behind this giant clothes shelf in my closet. He had squeezed behind it. Me being worried for his safety as its a really tight squeeze and not seeing any feasible way for him to get out I pulled the whole shelf out. It weighs maybe 80pounds? Wasn't fun. Regardless he then slithered underneath it so I couldn't drop it without killing him. However there was a lightbulb in the way which I smashed. Then was able to lean the shelf against the wall and my lil sis had to climb through a tiny hole to reach him. Finally got him out and back in his enclosure but now my closet is filled with clothes on the ground and its a huge mess.

But hey at least I found him :)

I have no clue what compelled him to travel the 15ft into my closet through piles of framed pictures and other stuff and then squeeze back there! :weirdface

80 lbs huh.... shouldn't be problem, considering you just got back from the gym. ;)

And you're a lucky sod for finding him again, my friend.

 I laughed at that for some reason.

I left the tank lid cracked open once, by accident, overnight. My brother knocked on my door and asked if my snake was supposed to be out. Insert frantic me dashing to the tank to find my snake curled up on the stand, right next to the tank. Scared me to death, but at least he didn't wander too far.

Glad you found him so quickly. I had a female BP on the loose in our home for four months. I figured she was gone for good then one day there she was coiled up on a pile of paperbacks she'd knocked over up in our master bedroom. I figure she'd spent those months happily going back and forth between the two huge walkin closets we have in that room (big old house, closets go waaaaaaaaaaaaay back under the eaves of the house so are pitch black in the back). Guess she got tired of that and decided if she knocked over some books we might notice her LOL. I often wonder how many times Mike and I were sleeping during those months and she was trucking around in our bedroom wondering why we didn't get up and toss her a rat. :)
