    hypo + kahl = sunglow
    hypo + sharp = sunglow

Same ingredients, just a different line of albino.

Yep, it's just a different line of albino combined with the Hypo gene to make the Sunglow. Sharp Sunglows, Kahl Sunglows, Paraglows, and probably soon to be seen VPI T+ Sunglows.

So from what I understand the Kahl and Sharp lines are not compatable? Is that right Jimi?

So Far Raul that is correct I worked with Kahl albinos in my snow project before switching over to BP's and as far as I know they are incompatible

That's what I thought... I always read and heard that the sharps crossed with hypos made normals.. so that's why that stuck out to me like sore thumb... Am I crazy?

The two albino lines are incompatible. Meaning, crossed together they will not give you more albinos. Both are compatible with hypo, IE sunglows.

    Re: Sharp Sunglow?
They're incompatible in the sense that if you breed a sharp x kahl you'll only get normals DH for sharp and kahl. No one has tried to breed them back together though. Both strains of Kahl and Sharp are recessive so if either is bred to a hypo (incomplete dominant, ie= co-dom) you'll get Hypos het for either strain and then you'd have to breed them back to get the actual sunglow.
