Re: Help me please
Aluminum Foil tape that you can find at home depot or a local hardware store. Its by far the stickiest stuff ever so be careful applying it.

My options are No heat,Black tape, shipping tape, and scotch tape.Going to a store is not something i get to do everyday so i must order this aluminum tape online :(

Uh...I guess just secure the corners of it down lightly so you can pull it back up when you get the aluminum tape in. Any tape will do for this purpose.

Re: Help me please
Make sure that the probe from the thermostat is secure against your flexwatt. If your flexwatt came loose it wouldn't be a big deal but if your probe gets dislodged then you can run into major problems.

Re: Help me please
I dont think there is any reason to start a new thread for this question i have so i will not.My problem is that I set my thermostat to 95.Came back and thermostat said 94.I looked at my thermometer and it said 102.6:confused:
I set it to 92 hoping that would work better and am now at 76.8.It comes on for about 10-20 sec then shuts off and comes on in about 2-4 min.Is the metal probe retaining heat?.Also the thermometer is in the bottom of the of the 31qt tub with about 1/2 inch of aspen on top.The Thermostat is a Johnson A419 and there is a metal piece on the probes end. Also it is 8 watt 4" flexwatt.

Re: Help me please
Bad tstat maybe? I'd return it and get a herpstat. Hell, even a cheap repti-temp 500r should work ok.

Do you have the temp differential set to one degree?
