    Congrats

3 foot average for ground boas. Care's a lot different than red tails too. Can be quite difficult, but fun snakes.

Smooth pick ups! What type of enclosure do you have them in? They are so tiny:gj:

    care sheet: http://www.kingsnake.com/candoia/gem.html

it should be noted that from what people have been telling me is that these are tricky to get started. they wouldn't even look at a pinky so im getting some frogs. deff not a beginer snake!!

Judd, they are in large deli cups. i think they are the 6" diameter ones. the deli cups are in a tub with a heater. they are in a serious QT way away from my others.

Congrats! My brother (Freelancer) just picked what he was told is a Solomon Ground Boa, but it is bigger than yours (& supposedly feeding on pinkies already). The rep store I always go to has a pair of Dwarf Isabel Island Ground Boas (just repeating what's on the tank label) that they are in the process of converting.
