Re: my Collection(DUW)
Nice snakes!
I don't spot any hides in the first BPs cage; you have some, right?
And in the 2 year old BPs cage, is there are a lid on that hide? Or is it open?

Re: my Collection(DUW)
They all have hides. All of them have 2 except for the RTB im looking for one big enough for him
Yes it has a top on that hide, i took it off to take the picture. Since that picture i have switched to a very dark colored Igloo type thing, its fits him a little snugger

Re: my Collection(DUW)
I think im most impressed with my RTB's tank now, i have 2 hides and a nice climbing branch for him.
I have my eye on a 4 stack rack system a guy is selling at a local pet store up here. The top shelfed housed a 9 foot burmese, so its plenty big for what i need them for. It has built in heat and its really nice
he is asking 1 grand for it, which i think is a pretty good deal. Now i have to convice my g/f that this is a purchase that i "HAVE" to have haha

Most people call BCIs red tails even though they aren't actually red tails.

Ok, thanks for the info,
I bought him at a pet store and thats what he was labeled as..
He is proving to be the most laid back snake that i own, everytime i handle him, he puts a fight up with me when i try to get him back into his tank. Not like biting or anything, but it takes 2 of us to get his head into the tank without harming him haha.
I have heard that he likes to dig and what not so i placed a peice of Snake Carpet over his UTH to keep him from burning himself and added a extra layer of aspen in his tank.

Your setups look very nice, and it seems like your snakes are well taken care of. I love the boa, he is gorgeous.
And also - "reduced" means reduced pattern, meaning simple without a lot of spots or busy patterns. I think that poster might have been referring to the 2 year old ball in the red circular hide. It's not a genetic "morph", but a variation in normal ball pythons, and some people prefer them to busier patterns. It's all up to personal preference though.

Ohh ok.thanks for the info. Its funny that your talking about that snake..his name is "COJO". He is one of my more difficult snakes. He will only eat a certain sized rat and i find that i have to feed him one or 2 so that he will get a nice sized meal. His temps and humidity levels are perfect so i know its not my husbandry. I think he is just spoiled rotten and wants things his way-lol
