    Anyone here like classic cars?
I know this isn't reptile related, but I just wondered if anyone was into cars, (new or older)...
Right now the pride and joy is our 73 Chevy Nova...

(Sorry still trying to remeber how to post the actual picture, for the few of you who know me, you know I've always been slow at the computer)
Anyhow, just wondering if anyone else is working on or driving a classic?

Hi, nice Nova you have there :gj: My dh and I are into classic cars. I have a 1969 Mustang Fastback that needs full restoration. My dh has a 1972 Maverick and a 1975 Maverick. We also have a 1969 Turino coming our way in the future from his grandfather. I'm sure he will chime in on this thread shortly and give a picture. I grew up around cars, my dad currently owns a 1932 Ford 3 window coupe and my brother has a 1969 Camaro Z28. We joke that we are going to race his car and my mustang one day :) He is in the process of restoring his as well.

Very nice nova. The ex's dad had about 20 classic muscle cars and had a 65 rally nova that he somehow dropped a 454 in... mmm loved racing kids in their hondas!

I went to San Diego and they had a place with the nicest old timers! They had a Rolls for sale for like 25K, and it was in good condition. The place couldn't have been a scam since it was downtown, and they had some suhweet stuff..

Nice. I am a chevy guy but did own one mustang, that I really regret getting rid of. Mine was a '67 fastback with a massaged 390, c-6 tranny, 9" rear with 456 gears. Got pics of your fastback?

Her Mustang is in bad shape, I do hope to someday put that car on the road, but it needs quite a bit of work before it will be ready. But I will say for a mustang it is my favorite year :)

Here are a few pics of the 72 and of the 75 Mav

I own (well, the title is in my name but it sits and my Parents house) a 55 Dodge Royal Lancer. My great grandfather bought it new from the dealership he worked at in 55. Since his death it has skipped around to a few houses, and it left the family for a while. My dad found it in the trees a while back and couldn't let it get away again .. so he bought it and started working on it.

The whole body needs to be loved, but the engine has been rebuilt since he bought it. It was the first production Hemi ever placed into vehicles. I can't remember the size, but it's fairly small.

Sweet! Chris has a car that looks similar, but I know it isn't the same. I love me some old muscle cars. My dad's got a firebird sitting in pieces at home. He hasnt driven it since I've been alive. :P Something about the rumble and chug chug chug of an idling badass car.... OOoeee. :D

But yes, I am a big fan of the old muscle cars, and I'm cool with even the new generation dodge challenger.

The best car I ever owned was an A body Mopar..

    a 1974 440 Plymoth Duster. The 440 wasn't a factory option I had that put in from a 68 440 Roadrunner

Ashtin has a '74 VW Karmann Ghia sitting in her mom's garage. It needs a lot of lovin but wouldn't take much to get it running.

She jokes around and says she wants to put a Porche 911 motor in it. ;):D

VERY nice Duster, I bet it demands respect!
We are mainly chevy people, But I would absolutely love a nice International Scout. That would be my little dream, The other half says it's the next one on the list after the Nova has her work all done. Patience is a virtue lol
