My kids were surprised by poop...
Well, I was checking the temps of the cages so my boy and girl help me by holding the BP's...Both were (key word) pretty chubby because they haven't gone #2 in weeks...Well, I asked for the snakes back and my girl brought my Mojo Lei Lani and while she was handing her to me...BANG she pooped...After all the laughing I asked for the Spider, Anela and again BANG she pooped too....2 of the three that were handled today pooped....The kids were giggling and I was relieved to see that they deficated...

It all washes off, though. ^_^ At least they were exposed to it.

I'm not sure about poop, but if musk stays on for more than 10 minutes, it takes at least three days until the smell is completely gone...

My wife loves it when snakes poop on her. J/K she does not find it funny at all. The last time it happened I was almost going to take her bee from her when it went all over her chest. She was in the recliner. It wasn't much fun for me either. I had to take the snake. clean her up because she had a puddle on her shirt. Then while she showered i had to clean the chair and start some nasty laundry. All mind you without laughing hystarically. That is how we used to determine if it was male or female. If it was female she would be pooped on within 24 hours of it being in our house. To say she has been pooped on a few times is an understatement.

Trust me that's two less cage I have to clean up this weekend...I was actually pretty happy this happened...

***Forgot to mention that I did get in trouble because I put them over the dining room table and on some of the kids school stuff rather than back in the cage...I was trying to get it all out before going into the cage...More time to lounge around on the weekend, but needless to say, the other half wasn't too happy with me...:D

Something like this happened with my son on Tuesday night too. We were reading the kids their bedtime story, and my 2 year old had the snake sitting on his lap. I heard a gurgling sound, and realized that it was the precurssor to something nasty coming out of the snake's bum. I grabbed the snake just as he pushed out a massive ureate and a bucketload of pee on my son's legs and all over the sofa. Nasty.

Gotta learn to watch for that suspicious bulge down near their tail end. If you see it leave Mr. Snakey in his home to do his business LOL.
