We're just too lazy to copy and paste.
We're used to Youtube videos being clickable

    AWESOME!
This is very classy. I love the WARNING... one rodent died in the making of this video! Hah hah... that was cool. Your snake looks young. But, he got that rodent right on the neck - perfect catch - like a seasoned veteran. My silly '08 spider misses the head half the time and even got bit by the rat once.

Looks like he is liking that hide very much!

That is pretty cool! I was going to poke fun just beacuse you said to be nice...

But man that is one great vid!!!! That is probably the coolest feeding vid I have seen!

Hey ADMIN!!!!! can we have some thing like this for POTM I know it is a vid but if we can get some of the cool editors to do their stuff I think that every one would enjoy seeing different nicely edited feeding vids like this one!

Good job my friend that is really cool!!! :gj:

P.S. If you put that on youtube.com and embed the video here then it would get more hits and probably faster response and feed back... We are all just to lazy to go any where else... or we are just to scared to venture out of our hiding place known as BPnet

OK, perhaps next time...overlay some hard core ramstein music, some more slow motion killing shots of the rodent going down, and maybe splice in some subliminal nuclear explosion video clips, some midgets and some circus clowns, just for that extra kick.

    Other than that, good job.

That is hands down the best feeding video I've ever seen! I hope you don't mind that I've saved it to my favorites list to show people what being an "ambush predator" is all about (with proper credit to you of course).

It also, quite apart from the dramatic music and all, does show how smart these snakes are as predators and how efficiently and one might even say humanely they kill. I do like the music though. It was just enough to add that dramatic flair and keep your interest without being too heavy and encouraging the whole "snakes are nasty killers" thing.

I do love how you've set up your enclosure with the hide naturally buried like that. That's how I set up enclosures for wild caught rescues to help them get used to captivity in a more natural, less stressed manner. Would you care to show either in stills or video how the entire enclosure looks?

wow... I would not never believe what clicky link should do lol. After two days and no response I was just like: "Martin... you are so stupid! For people here it's feeding so common and they just do not need to see in vid what they can see at least once a week...". But after a lot of amazing response I owe you some answers :)

software: Vegas Video used for that. For me is the best of the best... And I spend about 4hrs on that video.

Youtube: I already have account on Youtube (if anyone want's to see my previous non-reptile related work it's here). I like working with video so Youtube is a must :). Unfortunately after Tyler Bates (creator of music in vid) became popular after 300 movie it's against policy publish this video on Youtube because it's under license now :(. Only chance is change music or re-create it my self... that's why I have used Facebook (they have less strict policy).

"style": This video is some kind of response for my own feelins I have :). "Prey" in video is exactly #4. So yes it's pretty new for me offering live mouse as dinner... ;). Many years ago I was typical "rodent boy" (I had a lot of rats, hamsters or guinea pigs as pets) and just dreamed about having big snake. Now at least my dream came true and I have this beauty at home (It's more middle size snake than big... but I'm still happy :)). I know it would sound silly for all local veterans but I still a bit feel for those rodents. That's why vid may look bit... epic or evil (as you noticed :)). But that's not the aim at all! I'm so amazed to see how BP is hunting. That speed, precision and uniqueness is really amazing. Only my "dark side" (young "rodent boy") is showing off a bit :). That's also why I tried to warn anyone with that paraphrase of usual warning :). I'm really glad at least someone likes it (special thanks to anatess :D).

Thank you all so much for comments. It means a lot for me!

Re: My first BP feeding video... be nice :)
You know, the first time I've ventured into learning things about snakes, my first exposure was youtube videos. And I have to admit, it made me wonder if I made a big mistake in "allowing" my dear husband to get one. I started to get really disgusted by the plentiful feeding videos out there who show zero respect for the rodent/bunny/chicken/fill-in-the-blank... I've owned hamsters and bunnies and guinea pigs all my life and I have more affinity to them than to the snake (I used to be one of those people with irrational fear of snakes) and seeing them carelessly thrown in with a snake with all the heavy metal music in the background, laughing and snickering the whole time... man! But then, I got introduced to bp.net and I realized that snake owners are not just people who own snakes for the "shock-factor" of watching a rodent get killed. But, I still stay away from feeding videos.

But Malpaso, your feeding video was really classy. And the Warning, I thought, was indicative of your respect for rodent lovers. And that snake was a real pro!
