Snake nightmares

Have you ever had bad dreams about snakes?

I used to have a recurring dream where there were venomous snakes all around me. I never got bit in my dreams.
Now I dream about little ball python heads emerging from their eggs.:)

Yea mine involve all my snakes dieing or something like that. :(

yea i always have the same dream of poisonus snakes around me my last one was about ball pythons and in my dream i found a pool filled with every ball morph and started grabbing them all it was so awsome till you wake up !:rolleyes:

i don't. but my mom stayed at my place for vacation and had some horrendous nightmares. she asked me to let someone else watch the snake while she was there, so i lied and said i did. what i actually did was hide the tank in corner under a very large box. i told her it was a box of junk i was going to get rid of. she never found it. but the morning after her nightmare she woke up and said "That snake's in here, i know it is." funny.

I had a dream that my wife closed the tank lid on my son's snake's head and accidentaly chopped it's head off.
I had another dream that I had a clutch of babies escape and they were shooting around room at a ridiculous speed and I couldn't catch them.

Nope.. my nightmares as a kid consisted of a recurring dream where clowns would chase me, and throw blue raquetballs with clown faces painted on 'em at me.

If I got hit by a ball, I turned into a clown.

Strangely I've never been scared of clowns, really freaky dreams.

My adult nightmares are usually zombie apocalypse themed. Nightmares if I'm without weapons, happy dream otherwise lol.

I don't have them much anymore, but when I first got my snake I kept having dreams that people were stepping on her and killing her. I had similair nightmares for weeks.

All of my dreams are about sharks or dinosaurs. I cant remember a dream where one of the two is not in it terrorizing me. The balls do come in sometimes, normally I forget to feed one and it dies or I get eggs and dont have my incubator.

I've dreamed that I came into the snake room and all the bins were cracked just a little bit open.. so all the snakes were gone.
I also had the dream where there's all sorts of the coolest morphs.. but I don't have anything to put them in!! No bag, nothing!
Dreams of people hurting my snakes, etc. Yep. But I'm a vivid dreamer, and have a lot of really oddball dreams.

I used to dream that they had all escaped & I would actually 'see' them slithering around on the bed (snake room/bedroom). I don't have those dreams anymore, though.

I once dreamt someone had killed my snakes... that was hideous.

Another time I dreamt there was a snake on my pillow... and I woke up and there was in fact a snake on my pillow.

That is freaky! Why was there a snake on your pillow?

lol that is weird. can't say i have had any bad snake dreams lol.

Unfortunately I have dreams about field herping, and getting bit by venomous snakes. One time it was a rhino viper in a park :confused:

Another time it was a krait on a pillar (?) and it jumped off the pillar (quite unusual) and bit me in the neck. Then I got it off and it bit my ear. I knew I was gonna die but didn't really care...?

The worst time was when I dreamed about getting bit by V. berus, the night before I went herping to find them. :(

I've been to Afghanistan, I don't need nightmares, and when I do have them, you don't want to know what they're about.

I once had a dream that a bag lady handed me a brown box full of baby corn snakes in the park on day. I was trying to figure out how I was going to house them all! I was in a sweat when I woke up LOL!

I use to have bad snake dreams. Everytime I did something bad happened to me or I ran into a life venomous snake (rattler or cotton mouth depending on which coast I was living on) within 48 hours of the dream. I'd be worried sick until the event or snake appeared. One time I dreamt I killed the snake with a fireplace shovel and when it died it turned into my sister. It was the most horrible dream ever, my sister and I are VERY tight.

Then one night I was having a snake dream and I yelled at the snake, told it that it couldn't freak me out any more, grabbed it, shook it and it turned into a bead necklace that broke. That was the last bad snake dream I ever had.

I have had recent dreams of our BPs but they have just been flashes and always pleasent.

1/3 out of every dead animal dream was true the next morning too.

It makes me hate my sleep sometimes.

So funny, I have at least one dream a week of a snake getting out of the cage, or my temps being in the low 60's, or the crazy one where someone put another snake in with my Ball and they were fighting. Crazy!

When I was very young Bozo would scare the crap out of me. I used to dream he was outside. When I peeked out the window, he would suddenly appear at the glass then I would hide under my blanket, afraid to peek out.

I still hate clowns, unless its a clown BP.

I used to dream about cheeseburgers(weird) I would grab a few and before I could eat one I would always wake up.

I love to dream. Sometime I can fly. The ones that I like best are when I have a fever and the dreams are so abstract that I can't really say what it was about. Fun.

You're scaring me. My mom has dreams that come true...really. Never good things though.

The worst snake dream I had was the night my new babies were being shipped to me. I dreamt the plane crashed and my babies died. In the dream I sat by the door waiting for them and they never showed up.

The next day, I sat by the door totally freaked out until the FedEx truck pulled up.

I have had a few dreams that came true, usually they are just dreams about something like:
I wake up and see a certain set up of items on a desk
I go to answer the door and a certain person is there (whether or not I expected them)
I dreamt once that my first BP got out of her tank, only to wake up and run to find....no snake in the tank....she was hiding under the tank on a shelf.

Lately I don't have many dreams that I can remember, but my husband does say sometimes I will talk in my sleep, so I know I still dream.
