Thanks for having me aboard
Hi all, I thought I would tell you a little about what I do:
CT Reptile Rescue offers Rescue, Conservation and Education for all reptiles, amphibians and arachnids. We offer a full array of rescue & adoption services for both private individuals and families along with private and state (zoo or museum) run organizations and educational services for both museum and school facilities. We have been in operation for over ten years. We also do wildlife rescue and conservation for Connecticut reptiles and amphibians.
Other then my rescue I am a veterinary assistant and love to relax on my downtime outdoors, swimming, kayaking, hiking and climbing. (Altho that's a little hard in these winter months here in CT) So in turn I am a little stir crazy.
Anyhow, I just wanted to introduce myself.
Thanks
Rusty

Thanks for the responses so quick, this seems like a great bunch of folks. Hey I was wondering who are the moderators of this site?
Thanks,
Rusty
PS Again winter in CT (I don't know how many of you guys are from around here but not too many outdoor activities for me lately) so feel free to chat anytime!

The mods and admins have their names in green... :)
I'm in Texas, so there's still enough to do. I regularly travel to national parks and such to do a lot of hiking.

Hey Rusty!
I recently moved from Vernon to Mass. While in Vernon, I had a small rescue run from my home. I don't do rescue anymore since I decided to breed balls, but I'm glad to see there is someone out that way who is into rescue.
Welcome to BP.net

Welcome to BPNet, Rusty! As the Mod in charge of our Exotics Vet List if the clinic you work in does exotics like snakes and so forth, I'd be pleased to add it to our list. Feel free to PM me the info if you'd like your clinic included. :)

Rusty,
Welcome to the site! It must be very rewarding to be a vet assistant and deal with the rescue animals. You'll find tons of support here.
Enjoy that cold. I'm about as North as I ever want to get, Virginia. :D

Sounds like an awesome organization! Looking forward to hearing rescue stories. Welcome!
