So what do you guys and gals think of this...
Parents are unknown, but there are possibly some form of morph as the breader i got him from, well she had a few nice morphs.

how about this "marker" its this strong along the majority of his body.

I want to breed him, but i dont know what i can afford or want when the time comes to get a female. there are so many nice choices.

Obviously you are asking if we think the snake is het for pied, right?

I have a girl with those same markers running down the last 2/3rds of her body. But I know she is a normal.

Het pied markers are only really worth getting excited over if you know there is a chance the snake could be a possible het, even then it is not conclusive.

But since he is a male, you can always breed him to a female, hold back all the daughters, and breed them back, you never know.

Justin hatched out pastel pieds, and Mark Mandic hatched out Axanthic Pieds not knowing for certain what was being passed on (although Mark knew he had het pieds, he did not know he had het axanthics).

It is a het pied marker, no doubt about it. But normals can have them, and hets cannot have them.

So it is a crap shoot. But if there is a chance the snake is het for pied, then would I put stock in it... yeah, probably.

My het pied does not have them, but my normal girl does.

There is a section in the Hunter's Guide to the morphs on it.

Regardless it is a sharp marker. :)

They were 50% Possible Het pieds I guess I will have to wait till my friends breed them to find out whether or not they prove out.

Now would I buy an het based on markers alone NO, however if this is sold as a normal, you like this snakes and have a few years to spare to see if there is something to it why not?
