Southern californians unite!!

There seems to be a lot more people coming in out of the woodwork that are from Southern California.

So, I'd like to arrange for a Southern California BBQ Get Together in a park some place somewhere that works for everyone.

If you are interested in meeting some cool BP.netters from So Cal, please pipe up on this thread!!!

I haven't done anything in the planning stages other than actually wanting to do it, so if you have any ideas, please chime in as well!

I am from Fresno. I guess it is central Cali. I am interested in meeting like minded individuals. Set a date and place and I will try my hardest to make it. :snake:

On a serious note, I think this is an awesome idea!!!

We have a ton of people out here that are totally great to hang out with.


I think a giant BBQ at a park would be an awesome thing to do.

We could all bring stuff for eats and libations.....

We can do beach, but I'm concerned for those in Riverside and stuff...

There are some nice parks in the So. Pasadena area.

I know a better place than the beach.. There's Almansor park in Alhambra.. Gots a pond, tables and grills right at the pond.. The pond gots turtles, big koi fishes, and ducks. We can catch and roast those ducks but would pay a fine price.

Parking lot is right where it is too. Very convenient and easy.. I pass on the beach. Have fun.

I'd be willing, schedule permitting! The beach would be cool, but that's cause I'm lazy and it's closer to me then Pasadena :P

Is Alhambra a good midway spot from San Berdoo and Ventura?

totally cant wait, i think some park would work out. In trying to think of any local state parks that would work, maybe we could walk around or go for a hike and find some wildlife... Just an idea...

I think we need to have a main camp, and then some of you can go off and frolick. Considering that it was hard enough for some people to find us in the Zoo, remember? (Right, Chris?? ;))

Haha well yea, Im not saying just roam and hope people find us! We can have a place to just hang out and we can all go around and do stuff and what not.
