Re: water bowl
All my adults boas are in ceramic dishes like showed above. Various sizes depending on what size cage they are in. I don't provide a dish large enough for soaking.

Re: water bowl
I just use a tub, like a rubbermaid one. Lots of different sizes and pretty easy to find. And if you find the shorter tubs i have noticed that they dont really knock them over to often.

Yeah man, too much soaking is horrible for a boa. They'll develop scale rot quickly. You don't want them being able to defecate into the bowl and soak in the rotten water. As someone said in you previous thread, when a boa soaks all the time it's usually from stress. I'd go through your husbandry and the boa itself with a fine tooth comb. Something must be off, but maybe it's just the shed...who knows? I have over 100 boas and none of them soak during sheds.

Re: water bowl
I use a cat bowl for my BP and will probably use the same thing for my BCI when I get it. Doggie bowl will come later lol. I don't see the need to get anything special when really anything will do.
I read the whole ultimate care guide from rtb.com and he actually recommends just getting a smallish bowl for them to drink out of as if you have proper humidity levels they'll shed fine and its better for them to be in a dry hide than in a wet bowl.
