    still a very active bp
a few days ago i posted a thread about my bp being very active. many people said that i needed to go to a bigger mouse... sooo i did. all of the cage temps and humidity are perfect. and he has 2 hides. i guess my question is... is my bp just an active bp or is there something wrong.... he is always exploring his cage and moving around. but when we first got him he sat in his hide and did nothing. i thought him doing nothing was more normal than what he is doing now.... sooo whats goin on with my little boy??? ooo and he is just a baby. born in october... if that helps

Hmm I haven't read through your other threads, so can you give us ambient, hot and cool side temps? Humidity and cage size are also important :)

hot side is 92 to 95. cool side is right around 80 to 82... humidity is around 50% and his tank is kinda big for him now but he will grow eventually. i read in places that a huge tank will stress them out but he doesnt seem to be upset or stressed or anything...

I think you might be one of the privileged ones that has a healthy, comfortable, but ACTIVE BP!

Just keep checking up on it, make sure it's feeding, shedding, and pooping well, and you're golden!

That's fine. They have urine and urates a lot more than actual poop. Nothing to worry about!

As often as he needs to. Truthfully, that's the only real answer. Some go almost weekly, some go monthly. As long as he doesn't have an parasite issues, he'll go when he needs to go.

Bag the poop, put in the fridge till you can get it to the vet, and have them do a fecal check on it.

If he is eating, pooing and shedding regularly (which you can't really determine because you haven't had him long enough) I would say he is fine. Is he active during the day? Do you handle him a lot?

I sometimes find when I handle my bp's for more than 15 minutes at a time, they decide to explore their tubs for an hour or two. This isn't necessarily bad, I guess they just get excited or something, lol.
