New Light Box (Lots of Goodies!) [DUW]

I built a new light box this past weekend and have been working on getting better quality pictures with it. These are some pictures I took using it.

They all look like their in shed? Like their eyes are clouded over...Beautiful snakes though...

Probably cause of the brightness, still playing with some of the settings. One of my co-workers is a photography major so he's looking over them now and giving me pointers :).

I also noticed an odd look in their eyes, sort of silvery. But overall, very nice pics of beautiful snakes.

Can I ask a question though, what's a light box?? Just a box that you put white cloth into to take pictures?? I know that being on white, the colors show up a lot better but just curious what this "light box" is?!?! (p.s. I'm a newbie to bp's)

Pretty much, but you have lights pointing at it to dramatically improve the lighting.
