Feed Cards for whoever wants them. Printable
I posted these on fauna, so ill post them over here too for you guys.

Theyre not. PERFECT. and, if people really want them, but hate the... issues with them, ill clean them up. But i figure ill toss em on here for now.

the sections can be for whatever you want.

Originally they were for the name and type of animal at the top, then feeding on the far left, Sheds in the middle two, and weight on the far right.

Excellent idea. Like the poster above, I also have a "t-table" style chart for both my snakes where I jot down the date in one column and feeding/and other husbandry related information for future reference.

Nice.. Can you post a sample of it filled out.

I also have my own version that I made from MS Excel.
If anyone wants one let me know.

I do like yours! How do you get them to print multiples on a page? Or do they print as a full page?

why are there two columns for shed? im assuming for the first and last dates of the shed, but would you start at the first sign of shed such as when the belly is pink or wait when the eyes are opaque? thanks

Plan to keep the cards for awhile. I dont feed snakes every three days. So a few shed boxes should be good for the amount of feedings that are on there. ( i didnt do any math, this is just how someone else wanted them so we shall see as i use them... if i use them...) But Eight sheds, for the amount of feedings there are.... might be right.

Figure ill find out at some point if they work out well!

Here's a quick shot of the cards I use. Made them in excel, printed out on 5x8 notecards. They seem to last roughly 6 months or so. That's recording feedings, defecations, sheds, monthly weights, and any other miscellaneous notes I might want to make.

Actually I have 2 per page. What I do is I fold the page in half and put it on the side of the tub in my Animal Plastics racks.

If you want a copy I can email it to you. Shoot me a PM.
Let me know what you want changed and I can adjust it for you as well.
I have created others forms but they are for my specific use. Not everyone will probably like them I just posted the most simple and flexible one.

Below is one that is filled out. Excuse the sloppy handwriting.

Degei is what I use. Its pretty darn good. It has come a long way from when it was first released. I like it. Helps me track cost on my F/T as well with a "hey dummy time to order more" message when I hit my threshhold. :gj:

I had the same issue because the version I was using was very old. I just used the FAQ from the site and applied patches, rebooted, applied patches, rebooted, applied patches, you get the picture. In the end, it worked. Hope it helps.:)

I just use normal index cards that I use to track the dates they've eaten and what they ate, that's about it.

I also use Degei, I had to uninstall it and then reinstall it because it was not working. But I love it.
I also have the ProExotics cards, the spaces are way too small, and it makes it hard to fit in any info onto the card.

    I have Degei too.

It is a good application. I use my forms first then I update my Degei.
It isn't too convenient to use when I am actually doing the feeding, or other things.

Now if I had the scanner/gun it would be a different story but I am not going to pay that much for that.

I see this thread is an opportunity for everyone to share their ideas and thoughts on how they do it.

The point is to keep tabs, as stated in a post after yours, on an animals habits and monitoring their growth. Its also nice for buyers, to know some history on the animal.

Especially, when you sell an animal. My customers as well as myself like to know what the snake has been doing. I always provide my customers this information. It is good practice.

This be how I do it:

    http://i184.photobucket.com/albums/x...Snakesheet.jpg

Each page has 4 months on it, 5 feed and clean slots with age, weight, shed and notes on the last line. While in use the pages go into a folder system like this:

    http://i184.photobucket.com/albums/x...hartscorns.jpg

Full pages go into my 3-ring binders - one for BPs and one for Corns. :)
