Re: multiple snakes 1 tank?
Most people will tell you no.
Re: multiple snakes 1 tank?
it is possible to co-house 2 snakes at once. but you may find that you have domination issues and one will stop feeding. this is why most suggest you do not practice this.
Re: multiple snakes 1 tank?
I did this for awhile but recently placed them into their own tank. They seem to be happier and the cages are far easier to keep clean, etc.

NO :colbert:
Not worth the risk to the snakes.
Re: multiple snakes 1 tank?
sounds good to me. so i wont. thanks for your inputs.
Re: multiple snakes 1 tank?
some will say you can others will say no. it's ultimately up to you what you choose for you animals however think of this, If one gets ill the others in the cage might also catch the illness. should one regurgitate its meal you might not know who did it. while not common i have heard of cannibalism (this is a bit extreme but its really worse case senario). it's just easier to monitor the animals when each one is in its own mini environment.

Re: multiple snakes 1 tank?
Two snakes + one cage = really bad idea!
Re: multiple snakes 1 tank?
For a beginner it's likely to be a bit much.
For an experienced keeper it's not a problem.
Re: multiple snakes 1 tank?
Remember, if you were stuck in the same cage with another that was sick, you would get sick too right?
2 vet bills.. 2 sick snakes.. when it could've only been 1.
Also risk for early breeding, illness, domination, males fighting, and even cannibalism.

damn guys you are on the ball. thanks for the info. ill just put them in thier seperate cotnainers.
Re: multiple snakes 1 tank?
Another problem with 2 snakes in the same tank is feeding. Ever see 2 constricters coiled around one rat? Usually ends up bad for the snakes.
