My how we have grown young lady!
A few years back I bought a little snow corn. Sweet little thing. Wee ribbon of a snake. Seemed a nice break from the pythons.

Here she is in her first hide... a soap dish!

I looked in the other day and it seems someone has replaced her with this beast that I have never seen before. :)

I did not cool her this year. :)

Next year, when I am ready to get a table at a show she will have her date with Hubert (and one or fifteen with Victor). But I know her. Girl is VERY competitive. I do not doubt that she'll triple clutch on me and I will end up with a zillion noodles that I will have NO idea what to do with!

But she is my sweetheart on every level. Such a fun snake to have around. :)

When I got her a friend on another forum warned me not to get too excited as the females are notoriously smaller... she is bigger than most of my adult male BPs. :)

I got her two Januaries ago. So just over two years old. She was just a babe when I picked her up (on a whim).

The only time I had a dream that there was a snake giving me the side eye... I woke to see her peering into my eyes.

She had wedged her enclosure open, and I do believe had I not caught her I would have woken up to a Corn Snake Hat.

We joke that she is our quintessential Goth teenager. Cute, dressed in pink, but VERY VERY macabre!

    :)

I remember that pic from when you first posted it. I bet if you were to replicate that pic now, it would be more like, can you spot the newspaper anyone?

I just picked up a male at the local show Saturday. He looks just like your girl when you first got her. He already ate just one day after I got him. I didn't expect that. Your girl, she is a looker. Keep doin' what you're doin'.

    Sincerely,

Beautiful young girl you've got there! I have a soft spot for snows, as a snow corn was my first snake.

Your girl is a beast of a corn. How much does she weigh?

Ok... so I wrestled her wiggliness into a tub and weighed her... sitting pretty at 1400g... no idea on length. But I do recall her first weight with me and she was 14g.

So yeah... she is a bit bigger than she was. :)

She is visiting while I type this. I can tell by the look in her eyes she is eyeing me up as her next meal... so her next weight will be 1400g plus one fat man.

Thanks for the nice comments on her. I love snows, and I am especially fond of this particular snake.

She is a snow corn. So double recessive for Anery A and Albino (red I think?).

As Cassasandra says... feed a Corn and it will grow.

She is my trash compactor. She would eat a hot dog if I was so inclined to give her one (as long as I scented it with a rat first).

Heh...yeah, I think there must be one in every snake collection. :D

Mine is my Ghost corn boy. He'll down anything that looks and smells like a rodent. He weighs over 1000g and isn't even 3 yet! :)

I did luck out with Violaine. I bought her on a whim, and was told not to worry, the females stay small... uh huh... *taps foot*

But she is just a joy to keep. We enjoy her immensely, and when my nieces come to visit they always want to play with "Pinkie"... (they are 5 and 10).

I wonder if mine will ever get that big. When I brought my snow female home, she was somewhere around 20-30g. She is now around 400g and is somewhere over 2 years old.

I think corns are little (or not so little) garbage disposals. I know that my corn will eat every time I offer.
