Hell, one time down in Mexico.....

I used to work with a guy that was born and raised in Mexico about 100 miles from Mexico City. The people in the area that he came from were mostly poor, and iguana were considered a delicacy. He would stand over a hole and when the iguana would stick it's head out he would stab it through with a sharpened stick. They would dig a small pit in the ground and burn wood down to coals. The iguana were wrapped in leaves and cooked in the coals.

I think that's what was in my tacos:O
