First clutch of 08/09 STARTING TO HATCH....

first two are out and pictures are coming...wife cant use a camera that has setting on it i swear ( some how turns the flash off and doesnt know what micro means LOL). i think i was able to get 1 or 2 pics of the first two that might be worth while. so far it looks like the odds wernt in my favor. 2 black pastels and 3 normals. one of the blackpastels ( one still in the egg) had its umbilical cord wrapped around its neck and was very weak. I was able to help it get out ( it was nerve wrecking) and it seems to be doing ok but isnt absorbing its yoke as fast as the rest.

the little guy came out and didnt absorb ANY of the yoke. his umbilical cord was still somewhat attached so hes chilling and it should drop off soon

THANKS ALL!!! the little one is doing fine so far but seems to be going into shed faster ( looks like the shed dried around him already, its weird)

i have only sexed the black pastels and its a 1.1 the first one out ( fatty ) is a female and the one whos yoke was left is the male...once he has a few meals and is up to par ill decide what to do with him...still sketcy if im going to keep him.
