Another late night shooting (duw)
Another night, another shoot. I tend to take my best pics in the wee hours of the morning. There is alot of them so if your comp is slow it may take some time to load. I took well over 100 pics but have picked out the best here. Some do look like the smae shot but I like how differnt lights can have an interesting effect on the same picture. None of these are photoshopped they were all taken using different colored lights. Most were taken using no flash. A couple of the brighter, non colorful ones used a flash at a low setting. All used a macro lens. The colored ones were using one of those block lights from the dollar store that you put under those crystal squares with 3d figures in side them. I did however crop alot of these and added basic frames from the photobucket edit option. I find that you get the best results taking these pics in a very low lit room. Not completely dark, I had my reptile cage lights lighting the room. I used a pair of black velour pants as a backdrop.

Whoops is there a place for pics of other snakes?
This is just one set using one snake. I tend to take one snake as my subject for a shoot. I have a set from an old shoot of my pastel, the pic from this months bpom is from that set.

Lol I didn't even realize till I read these replies that, Mel's right :rofl: Right underneath the Ball Python section on the forums page is a place for Boas lol. Anyway! These are the coolest pictures ever. My boas would never sit still for something like this :P Another cool thing is I'm listening to Pendulum, so it's like a full on snake rave for me :D
