Snake People in Fl

Where do you guys get your snake food from? Do you buy them from shows or what? Reason I ask is Im thinking of getting into breeding snake food but dont want to do it if I dont have anyone to sell it to. Do you think any of you might be interested?

i was getting all my feeders from a guy here in town. he has vanished and now im scrambling trying to find a place. the nearest place that sells in bulk is down in pompano beach.

where are you located?

Far :D. Im kinda in Orlando too but that is still to far to drive.

There is a place down in Broward county called South Florida Rodents (southfloridarodents.com) that I will start buying from soon.

I've been buying from the local reptile store, but prices are getting outrageous.

I'm in Miami, so the 30 minute drive north for feeders isn't that bad.

yea thats the place i was going to go to. but i live in fort pierce so it'd have to be a weekend type thing.

let me know if the rodents there are good.

gourmat rodent in newberry fl sells f/t real cheap but you have to buy 50 dollars worth at a time but that saves lots of trips to get mice/rats

there isn't much help in the bay area either. i have begun raising asf. i was tired of dealing with petco. check with mike cavanaugh, like judd said. i did not get mine from him, but he's been very helpful with my questions anyway.

I now have a2 groups of mice and a pair of rats that might be fed off :D. I will know more on what prices we will be charging once I get oour racks built.

I get my feeders from Jesse Jeffcoat in Sarasota - he offers clean, healthy & fat live or frozen mice and rats in whatever size and number you specify - great guy! Great prices - and no shipping fees. He brings what you need over the Skyway every week. Herpers in the Tampa Bay area - let me know if you want his email or more info. we live in umatilla which is about a hour from apopka area we breed are own rats we have a new batch coming soon we have backed out of mice for the time being do to money issues and getting ready to move soon.

I've been going there for about 6 months good rodents great prices and they always have everything you need.

I'm in Apopka Fl kinda by sanford, Mt dora I'm getting two rat racks and I've only got 1.5 now so I'm looking to fill them up if anyone has rats by me pm me please =]

Does anyone know of some good feeders near the Tampa campus of USF? The only place I know of to get feeders around here is the small pet shop up at the mall, but the prices aren't great and they don't always have what I'm looking for. Just today I went up there to pick up a couple feeders and he won't have any in til next week. I'm trying to get my snake into a pattern with feeding and it's difficult if they're not available.

there is a pet store on bush blvd a block east of 56th called Pet Mart not petsmart....pet mart. there used to be one on waters ave. that sold mostly reptiles. not sure if either of them are still there. i used to go to USF so these are the tow places i shopped......GO BULLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I checked out the pet mart website and it showed nothing about reptiles on there. What's the waters store called?

i can't remember. if you are headed west it is on the left hand side.

pet mart had reptiles when i lived there. not too many but i know they have rodents.

Ok guys, My mice are prego and just got my rats. Racks are built also. So its comming along pretty good right now.

There used to be a large scale rodent supplier in St. Augustine. He sold any size mouse for $0.25 and I think any amount over 1000 was $0.19-0.20 each. I brought 1000 mice back a few years ago while on my way back from Daytona.
