Got my anniversary present

Well, I figured that we were going to do a simple inexpensive anniversary this year (our third year together), but it seems as if the wife saved up the money so I could get the Pastel Colombian Boa I had been wanting.

She came in yesterday, and is a beauty.

She got her from JnJ Reptiles, and let me tell you, the guy was a pleasure to do business with. Great guy, and was on the ball for shipping, and was always available for questions.

I got my first bp after much begging and whining. and then a few months later, she let me get a second one. After that about a month later my pastel, and finally my she "allowed" me to get a bci at a expo here in Ky. my son now has the male normal bp. He's 11 and does an awesome job taking care of Yoda. My 6 year old daughter helps out as well. She's getting good at handling too. my wife is slowly coming around. She'll hold them if i beg, but not the bci (Bebe). All I had to do to get started, was to complain about her cats.lol:gj: but I think that 4 snakes will be my limit. I allways remind her that we never find chewed things or hairballs while we're gone. I too believe that I've hit the lottery with my wife. I think that in her opinion, she's serving time being married to me.!!!

Thats great. Keep sucking up, maybe she will let you get an albino redtail.

I believe that 4 is my limit. My house is plenty big, but, i already have enough toys. Like i said, she's very tolerant!! i have always said that there's a fine line but big difference between accepting and approving...i'm a very blessed man..

Nice Boa. Good to have an understanding spouse too. Mine is fully onboard with me getting as many snakes as we can reasonably house in a basement just as long as she can have parrots lol.

The Wife's or the Snake's? :D

The Boa has a pretty good temperament. She can get a bit mouthy every now and again, but she hasn't offered to bite yet.

The wife on the other hand bites pretty often.
