have any questions?
hey, if you have any questions at all about breeding then i want you to reply to this thread. Any at all about breeding i can answer them.:snake:
-
Re: have any questions?
I have one then..
Exactly how does a Ball Python sense the slightest change in barometric pressure which make them more willing to breed.
:D
-
Re: have any questions?
Here's a question:
How do you know EVERYTHING about breeding?
-
Re: have any questions?
I'm surprised you guys are so clueless about this.
A lot of people that frequent these forums for a month or two become experts and start freely dispensing advice. Many go on to become "breeders" just a few months after they become experts.
Look around at some of the posts less than a year old that say "Hey, I just got my first snake." Some of those guys have their websites setup already with fancy logos (but nothing available). How hard could it be?
-
Re: have any questions?
I have to say, if it is that easy, I am totally jealous...
It took me YEARS to figure it out, and I know I don't know EVERYTHING.

Yep, I wan't to know this one too. Good question Freakie.
Also How can I make my house air tight and artificially controll the Barometric pressure to increase my breeding response.

Thanks in advance for your time bailey23.

Re: have any questions?
i got a real good one what is the purpose of this post?
seeming how this is a repeat post. why would you post this again?
-
Re: have any questions?
Ok seriously though I just checked out your profile, statistics, and all of your other posts.
Where is all of your breeding knowledge coming from. I does not look like it is coming from your personal collection.
Though I guess you have not provided any yet either, so I am not going to hammer you for it.
Just curious what your Experience/background is that you have gained all knowledge about breeding.
-
Re: have any questions?
Well, I wish he would respond cause now I'm all curious about the answers to those head scratchers........
-
Re: have any questions?
Maybe this guy doesn't know that much about breeding, maybe he does.
The thing is that he is new to this forum, maybe doesn't know how it works, so I think you should stop giving him crap for it.
He's just trying to help.

Wasn't trying to beat him down... Just curious what background / experience he has.
Bailey23. If you catch this post, why don't you introduce yourself and tell us a little bit about yourself, your collection, projects, ect. Let us get to know you.

Re: have any questions?
Slack had been cut...
Just curious why he keeps doing what he's doing??
I'd love to hear more from him instead of him starting new posts telling people to ask him questions in this thread without ever answering...

Seems fishy to me I went over all his past posts and he seems pretty normal though. who knows.

Re: have any questions?
Lol....this thread is amusing.
Seriously though, I don't think the OP understands how forums work....or, he just does this for fun to watch all the constantly signed in peeps swarming on a stupid thread. Think watching a bunch of flies trying to go through glass.

Guess I been doing it all wrong. Website first then invest in BPs.. :weirdface

Well We all understand being new, we have all been there at some point.
Though it is odd that Bailey23 posted an almost identical posting the day after he joined in General Ball Pythons
http://ball-pythons.net/forums/showthread.php?t=79426
Not a big deal, like I said we all have been new and wanted to help before.
The thing that is Fishy about it is He post the thread but then never comes back and replies to anything.
If you look at his statistics he joined in Nov of last year and has only been averaging .22 post a day that is less that 1 post every 4 days
Not to hammer anyone on this but posting a general offering to answer people's questions at least show some participation even when they are joking around and being stupid.
We are all guilty of being stupid or funny or of joking around that is what makes it fun around here.

Word to that... And sarcasm doesn't translate well into typing...

Re: have any questions?
Birds sense slight changes in barometric pressure in their bones because they are hollow. This is the same way an altimeter in an airplane works. Think about it this way... If you let a balloon rise through the atmosphere it will get bigger and bigger as it ascends until it pops because as altitude increases pressure drops. As pressure lowers outside the balloon, the pressure inside the balloon becomes higher than the pressure surrounding the balloon so it expands. I suspect that organs, bones, and air inside animals (and people) reacts the same way. If you ever broke a bone you can probably sense this same change in barometric pressure as your snake does.

Re: have any questions?
Here's my issue. Are we talking a ten year old kid here, or a sixteen year old kid here (who should know better)? I can understand a post or two like this, but this kid is obviously not getting it despite several gentle replies in his first few posts. Nothing he has posted makes me think he has any solid experience, whatsoever.

Re: have any questions?
Which came first, the chicken or the egg? ?
-
Re: have any questions?
well birds came from reptiles so the egg would've been first.
