New Balls...and a blind test...

Just got these from a local private party, and wanted some opinions on them.

The first is a known morph, but the other has had controversy, so I will let you tell me what they both are, in your opinions, as sort of a blind test, and perhaps some light will be shed on these. (they both exhibit deep yellow/orange on their sides, most of which cannot be seen in the photos)

The first, is a 2000gram female:

The male looks like a pastel browning out some. Not sure about the female.. but she's hot. She looks like "something" but I can't put a finger on which odditity.

Yeah, me neither.

I either have to get fellow BP.net'ers opinions, or spend years trying to prove out something.

I thought, why not get opinions first :)~

Both look like pastels to me.
If they both have clear bellies, then yes, they are both pastels. The second one doesn't have a lot of blushing, but definitely has a lot of the traits of a pastel.

OK, my turn....

The female is either a super pastel or a pastel het stripe or clown.
The male is a jungle pastel or pastel het for clown.

So I'm going to go with 1.1 pastels het for clown as my final answer.

I wish to everything holy in this world that they were het for clown, but, I don't think they are.

The male was sold to a new friend of mine as an enchi, which it 95% isn't, and the large female is a pastel.

The girl is a very nice Pastel. The male sure isn't an Enchi -- Pastel as well.;)

Im saying pastel, But the first one is really nice possibly a super? :salute: anyways looks great

Soo..... how is it that you are visually identifying hets? i'm not trying to be a jerk, i was under the assumption that a het for clown would look normal...

They are pastels, and the theory behind the het Clown is that they are very bright animals, even as normals..

Now whether or not this is a 100% true distinguishable characteristic, I don't think so.

They both look like older pastels to me, that female is particularly nice looking.

Yeah, I guess the female has kept herself pretty light, considering shes 2000 grams at this point.

...anyone want to venture an opinion/guess as to what lines they appear to be from?

I think a Graziani, maybe Bell for the female...and the male...really no idea.
