All Animal Expo Chicago Feb-7th

Is anyone going to this or does anyone regularly go to this?
I will be attending this coming weekend and would love to meet some people. I want to get more involved in the ball python world!
Also, I would like to learn how to pop a BP (those videos don't help too much D:)
I won't be purchasing any new BP's myself, but I will probably pick up some feeders. :3

If there is another thread for this, please redirect me :D

If all goes as planned.....I should be there :D

im pretty sure im going. i dont really need feeders, but i usually dont leave empty handed.

I haven't been there for many,many years back when it was Lee Watson's.I need to get off my behind and take the ride to check it out!

I usually go over to the show, not so much in the winter, and less frequently now because I dont have room to put anything i'd walk out of there with! Great show though!

At the new location they changed the building several times...

I like it in the largest building. A lot more room. Like 10' wide rows. Lots of space :)

The first one they used when they moved the show was alright too.

Must suck for all you when you have to find a parking spot LOL

Yeah, there's to buildings. A small one and a large one.
They use the larger one likes 4 times a year only. :(

Come at around 12 instead of when the doors open and I'm sure you'll have that problem :D

usually noon is my normal time...I'm not much of a "morning" person ;)

I don't really know the place so I don't know where a good meeting spot would be? I will probably be getting there around 11 or 12 (I suck at getting up early). I will probably just be in normal jeans-and-a-t-shirt.

Back of the building. Left side. You'll see a square/circle of 8 tables, including terrariums. I'll be the one working wearing a Yankees hat and who is in need of a hair cut but wants to see how he would look as a greaser.

I've only been once so far. Main reason I went was so my nephew could see all the crazy stuff people like us keep in our homes. I told him for two weeks "we're just going to look, we're not buying anything!" 'cus I figured he would try to come home with a puppy or something. Well, we each came home with a new BP. :D

I won't be there this week, but I'll be going again soon. When I can manage to scrape together enough $$ for an albino male.

I don't know what half the stuff at the table is and I don't want to look like an idiot by you asking "what kind of cage requirements do these box turtles need?"... I will stand there and stare and go "ummm basically... uhhh.... a big cage" LOL

i been going there for like 8 yrs but of course that was when it use to be called lee watson reptile show and it was in streamwood, Illinois but to answer ill be there if you see dreads then that's me :rolleye2::rolleye2:
